Feeling disconnected from your body? Would you like to explore your creativity in a supportive shared space? Wanting to move but don't fit in to mainstream dance or yoga classes? These classes will include movement explorations, guided imagery, solo and partner work, writing and drawing to look at your body stories from a more creative perspective. Each session will focus on a different aspect of the body-psyche to discover a poetic language of metaphor that includes your whole self. Free your imagination, find more ease in your body and rediscover the joy of movement. Open to all, no experience necessary

Fees: £ 15 / £12 concession drop-in £39 for any 3 sessions or £10 each when you bring a friend

TEACHING BIO
Natasha has worked in the field of dance, creative arts and holistic therapies for over 20 years promoting wellbeing, empowerment and connection. She started dancing when she was 3, has practised various movement disciplines and bodywork including Feldenkrais, Body Mind Centering, Bartenjeff Fundamentals, Yoga, Chi Kung, Swimming Dragon Tai Chi, Holistic massage and Shiatsu and done taster workshops in Craniosacral therapy and 5-element acupuncture. In the last 17 years she has taught and held workshops for a wide range of people including women living with mental distress, people over 65, dancers, musicians, and people living with chronic health issues and chronic fatigue/M.E. Natasha has done extensive research and study into dance as a healing art and is passionate about the potential of movement to bring people together and make space for conversations which otherwise go unheard. She is an artist member of Chisenhale Dance Space.
